Spinal Needle

Usage
The Spinal Needle is used to provide exceptional control when penetrating the dura suitable for spinal anesthesia. In other words, they are used to inject analgesia into the cerebrospinal fluid usually at a point below the second lumbar vertebra.

Adverse Events
The following are the adverse effects of the Spinal Needle:

Nausea

Dizziness

Fainting due to anxiety

Flushing of the face

Heart-related complications

Complications associated with particulate steroids

Contraindications
The Spinal Needle is not intended for use in the following cases:

Infected skin over the puncture site

Increased intracranial pressure from the space-occupying lesion

Trauma or mass to lumbar vertebrae
