Dasanat 50mg tablet is a target therapy medication that is used in the treatment of blood cancers. It is used in the treatment of both acute lymphoblastic leukemia and chronic myeloid leukemia. The generic name of this medication is Dasatinib and it is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor.

Description

​ Dasanat is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that functions by inhibiting several growth factors. It also down-regulates and inhibits BCR-ABL which is responsible for cell proliferation and growth.

In addition, Dasanat inhibits leukemic cell lines. As a result, it stops the progression of the cancer. ​
