Dasanat 50mg tablet is a target therapy medication that is used in the treatment of blood cancers. It is used in the treatment of both acute lymphoblastic leukemia and chronic myeloid leukemia. The generic name of this medication is Dasatinib and it is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor.
Blood Cancer
Dasanat is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that functions by inhibiting several growth factors. It also down-regulates and inhibits BCR-ABL which is responsible for cell proliferation and growth. In addition, Dasanat inhibits leukemic cell lines. As a result, it stops the progression of the cancer.
Dasanat 50mg tablet may cause some serious and unwanted side effects that require immediate medical attention otherwise it can also lead to higher risk. Do not forget to discuss the risks and benefits of this medication with your doctor.
