Overview
Imatib 400 mg tablet is used for the treatment of several cancers. It is commonly used to treat gastrointestinal stromal tumors and blood cancers (chronic myeloid leukemia and acute lymphocytic leukemia). It inhibits or prevents the specific proteins that play an important role in the growth and spread of cancer cells. Certain types of skin cancers or tumours, dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, and a type of bone marrow condition called aggressive systemic mastocytosis can also be treated with Imatib 400 mg Tablet.
