Overview
- Kryxana 200mg Tablet is an anticancer medicine with the active ingredient Ribociclib (200mg). It is prescribed to treat metastatic breast cancer. It belongs to a group of cancer-fighting medications known as antineoplastics.
- This tablet works by blocking the action of the kinase protein, which is important for the growth and division of cells. It should be taken at the same time each day to get effective results. Don't take more than the recommended dose.
- Typically, Kryxana should be administered as monotherapy combined with endocrine therapy once per day, with the tablet swallowed intact with or without food intake.
- Patients using Kryxana are recommended not to consume grapefruit or pomegranate juices.

- Fatigue and tiredness
- Headache and dizziness (including vertigo or fainting)
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation
- Abdominal pain
- Rash, itching, or skin changes
- Hair thinning or loss
- Cough, breathlessness, or nasal inflammation
- Fever and night sweats
- Trouble sleeping (insomnia)
- Back or joint pain, muscle cramps
- Swelling in the face, legs, ankles, or feet (edema) with weight gain
- Increased tearing (watery eyes) or dry eyes
- Reduced appetite
- Changes in blood counts (low red cells, white cells, or platelets)
- Infections
- Elevated liver enzymes or creatinine levels
- Low calcium, potassium, or blood sugar (especially with insulin or sulphonylureas)
- Severe neutropenia (very low white blood cell counts)
- Hepatobiliary toxicity (serious liver problems or liver failure)
- Heart failure or prolonged QT interval (abnormal heart rhythm)
- Gastrointestinal disorders
- Hypothyroidism
- Pneumonitis or interstitial lung disease
- Generalized swelling in the body

Missed Doses
If you forget to take a dose of Kryxana Tablet, consult your doctor. Don’t double up the next dose to cope with the missed one unless your doctor recommends it.
Quick Tips
- If a dosage is skipped or vomiting occurs after administration of the tablet, just skip the missed dose and keep on with the next scheduled one; however, never take a double dose.
- The tablet is supposed to be taken once a day, either with or without meals, but at the same time every day in order to prevent missing a dose.
- It is important to use effective birth control measures to avoid getting pregnant while on this treatment.
- Make sure to notify your physician about your condition in case you are pregnant, want to become pregnant, or are nursing a child.
