Olanib 150mg tablets (Olanib 50mg) is a target therapy medication. It is used in the treatment of ovarian cancer along with fallopian and peritoneal cancers. In addition, it is also used to treat breast cancer and prostate cancer in men. The generic name of this medication is Olaparib and it is a potent PARP inhibitor.

Pharmacodynamics

Olanib tablets inhibit the function of PARP enzymes. PARP stands for poly ADP-ribose polymerase enzymes that are needed for basic cellular functions like DNA transcription and repair.
