Description

Ritocom (Ritonavir/Lopinavir) is a prescription medicine. It is a combination of two antiretrovirals namely Ritonavir and Lopinavir. The active ingredients of Ritocom tablets are Ritonavir and Lopinavir. This medicine is prescribed for the treatment of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) infection. It boosts up the immunity to fight against the virus and manage AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome). Pharmacodynamics 

Ritocom is a co-formulation of two antiretroviral agents (Ritonavir and Lopinavir). Its molecular formula is C37H48N4O5, and its molecular weight is 628.80. Lopinavir is a white to light tan powder. It is freely soluble in methanol and ethanol, practically insoluble in water, and soluble in isopropanol.

Usage of Medicine

Also, it is not recommended for use in patients having a weight of less than 40 kg. It is available in the strength of 50 mg/200 mg in the form of tablets for oral administration.
