Soranib (sorafenib) tablet is used to treat certain types of cancer (liver, kidney, and thyroid cancer). This medicine helps to prevent the multiplication of cancer cells. Reductions in tumor angiogenesis were seen in models of HCC and RCC upon Soranib treatment, and increases in tumor apoptosis were observed in models of HCC, RCC, and DTC.
