Overview Of Sotoxen 120mg tablet

Sotoxen 120mg tablet is an anticancer medication that is used to treat Lung Cancer (Non-small cell lung cancer). The generic name of this medication is Sotorasib. It is also used in the treatment of colorectal and appendix cancer. It is a KRAS Inhibitor. Sotoxen is a prescription-based medication that is used and should not be given with antacids. It is advisable to take this tablet 4 hours before or 10 hours after taking antacids

Pharmacodynamics

Sotoxen 120mg is a KRAS Inhibitor that is used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer. Mutations in the KRAS gene trigger uncontrollable cell growth and protein synthesis leading to cancers. Sotoxen binds to the cysteine residue KRAS gene keeping it inactive. It, as a result, stops cancer from progressing as it inhibits the growth and spreading of cancerous tumors.
